Claudia Almanza

Claudia Almanza (1988) Graduated in 2010 from the Higher Institute of Art of Havana in the specialty of Oboe.  Interpreter of historical wind instruments and vocalist in Ensemble Lauda, ​​a group of which she is a founding member and with which she has participated in prestigious festivals of the early music and concert scene in Cuba, such as the Esteban Salas festival of early music and the 2021 edition of Renaissance May organized by the Ars Longa ensemble and the Havana historian’s office, The San Salvador de Bayamo festival, The Human Voices festival organized by the Leo Brouwer office. Also in the editions of Medieval Havana, organized by Ensemble Lauda.  In 2019 she participated in the recording of the CD Cantigas de Santuarios, the first phonogram of Ensemble Lauda. She has also participated as an oboist in the Leo Brouwer chamber music festival, the Baroque September festival, organized by the Havana historian’s office and the ensemble of early music Ars Longa and The festival of contemporary music of Havana , organized by the center of concert music .
